Quality Assurance

FSEAP is committed to the highest quality of professional service and ethical standards in its provision of Employee Assistance Programs. fseap holds full accreditation from the Council on Accreditation (COA). This accreditation attests that fseap has undergone careful examination and met COA standards for best practices by demonstrating the highest standards of excellence in its operations and service delivery.

FSEAP ensures quality control by requiring that all of our counsellors and professional associates hold a minimum of a Masters degree in psychology, counselling-psychology or social work. Counsellors must also be registered with a professional association that has a Code of Ethics. This provides a means of investigating complaints and the ability to impose disciplinary measures or legal sanctions should this eventuality ever arise. fseap ensures clients are informed of their rights and the appropriate steps to take if they would like to initiate a complaint. Our program is governed by personnel practices that outline policies regarding relations with clients, harassment, investigations and appropriate ethical conduct.

Clinically, FSEAP ensures quality in our EAP services through a Client Satisfaction Questionnaire that is sent out to our clients, only with their consent. The feedback is reviewed by the Program Manager and provided to counsellors and affiliates. A summary report of this feedback is provided to each organization at the end of each year.
